The editorial board of the journal “Economic Theory” accepts for publication original articles written specifically for the journal “Economic Theory”, which were not previously published in any other printed and electronic publications and were not simultaneously submitted to other publications.

The uniqueness of the articles submitted to the editorial office is determined by means of a multi-stage check:

– with the help of anti-plagiarism programs,

- by reviewers.

In case of suspicion of plagiarism or falsification of data, the reviewer immediately informs the members of the editorial board.

If plagiarism is detected, the article is definitely rejected. An exception may be that the source or citation is not prepared in accordance with the requirements – in this case, the article is sent for revision.

Excessive use of quotations and self-citation is not allowed.

In the event of any conflict between the editorial board of the journal and the author(s), the editorial board is guided by recognized international standards of publication ethics (see Ethics of Scientific Publications).
