Economic theory: a 35 years old experiment
ABSTRACT ▼
While the period from 1946 to 1971 was called by economists «Keinesyan Age», what happened in economic theory after that? Was the economic theory of recent decades a flight of economic science or its crisis? What affect did the introduction of Nobel Prizes on economics in 1969 have on its development? On the basis of analysis of the scientific contribution of Nobel Prize winners and generalization of their theories, concepts, models and ideas, the author proposes answers to that and other questions and shows a huge influence, which Nobel awards have on the development of economic science and formation of economic practice.

The Nobel assessment of the achievements of economic institutions
ABSTRACT ▼
The author presents the original ideas of American economists O.Williamson and E.Astrom whose views constitute the new institutional economic theory (HIET). It is exactly for their pioneer research on economic organizations, which considerably widened our understanding of non-market institutions that they were awarded the 2009 Nobel Prize in Economics (despite the fact that the two scholars have no joint works).
